I will soon be leaving on a 10 hour trip to Georgia with three kids who can't stand riding in the car for more than 20 minutes. I flew the kids down by myself when we moved here. That was a 2 1/2 hour flight and when we walked off the plane, three out of the four of us were crying (Maddie had the good sense to keep her wits about her)
If you feel so inclined, say a prayer for our safety and sanity. This will not be a fun drive, but hopefully the anticipation of some good quality family time will help us survive it. And maybe someone at the house will have a nice stiff drink awaiting my arrival. (hint, hint)
