The Facts of Life (according to a 6 year old)
Maddie and I were sitting in the Florida airport yesterday noticing the swarm of lovebugs that take over Florida this time of year...those harmless but annoying black bugs.
Maddie: Do you like love bugs?
Me: No, they're gross.
Maddie: Do you think they're gross because they fly around with their butts stuck together?
Me: Yeah, sure.
Me: Yeah, sure.
Maddie: Well, Mom, just so you know when people are in love they press their butts together just like love bugs.
...
I am still debating my response to that and am praying that will be the extent of her knowledge (for the next twenty years)

Oh dear...raising children is certainly a humbling experience, isn't it? You actually got off fairly easy this time.
