Lofty Aspirations

I know a lot of kids talk about what they want to be when they grow up … teacher, policeman, fireman, etc... I’m trying to decide at what point to worry about Sean’s desire to be a garbage man. He’s only 4 ½ but this desire just keeps growing. On garbage days he gets up early, gets out his little chair and has been known to wait upwards of three hours for them to come.
He’s agreed to going to college before becoming a garbage man but he also says that he’s going to marry Kate and they’ll drive the truck together…now I need to decide which is the bigger concern … the career goals or talks of marrying
his sister.

That is the greatest picture! A picture is worth a thousand words in this case. It truly says it all! Great work Mommy. -Robin

Oh man, this made me laugh so hard - thanks! Great shot. Here we are required to recycle everything and do compost. We always recycled in the States but over here it's pretty crazy. We have four different garbage cans and four different garbage trucks come each month. Jack is in heaven. We bought him a German matchbox garbage truck and he holds it while he watches the real one take our trash. Boys!
