We are back from "Hallatassee". Had such an awesome time. The kids were SO excited to be in a hotel room. They spent a good hour taking turns spinning in the chair, opening the door over and over with the key card and playing with the really cool phone (really cool because it had one of those fancy cords attached to it)

Amber was so good to let us crash her lovely home on Saturday. I haven't seen her in many years, but thanks to blogging, we've been able to keep up with each other.

So, the kids did not get to have McD's for lunch. Sean kept taking his seat belt off and I had a major screaming freak-out and that was the end of the story. On the way home, however, we stopped to see Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Jim and they were treated to Steak and Shake which made up for their loss

The part about the phone with the cord cracked me up. It's amazing that kids today aren't growing up with cord phones (most of the time)but that's all we knew. Boy do I feel old. Looks like you had a great time.
