Magical because it's a place where you fight your way through crowds in 95 degree weather, spending gobs of money... and yet... you magically feel as though you've had the time of your life.
Alright... now let me bore you with you too many pictures...

PJ the Planner... making sure we are maximizing full use of our time... at all times.
Post-Splash Mountain... this was by far Sean's favorite ride. He refused all roller coasters and was terrified by anything haunted... but bring on the 50-foot free fall.
We got up nice and close for the 3 o'clock parade (which incidentally does not start at 3 o'clock) They do a good job trying to keep the kids occupied while waiting. Maddie tore up the jump rope competition with 50 jumps without stopping.
Enjoying an afternoon treat
Back at the hotel... which they enjoyed almost as much as Disney
We spent two days in Magic Kingdom ... we scrapped our plans to spend the last day in Animal Kingdom so my thrill-seeing hub and daughter could experience the Tower of Terror over at Hollywood Studios (think haunted demon drop)
We also went there because they have a lot of Playhouse Disney stuff that Kate could enjoy ...and since she was too short for a lot of the rides the other two went on, it seemed only fair.
She was not afraid to dance throughout the whole show
Playing in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids set... which Sean would only go into after much convincing that he wasn't actually going to be shrunk.
Meeting Buzz and Woody (Kate will not go anywhere near the characters... not even Mickey and Minnie)

Now I have Disney fever!
Since I know you will be honest, is it worth the hooplah to go with kiddos as small as mine?

I LOVE the pictures! Looks like so much fun.
You truly have a gift--these photos are great, as is the commentary! You and Pat look like you left Hillsdale yesterday! I'm so glad you got to make this trip and proud of how you make the most of everything:)
