We had fun ringing in the new year. I feel blessed to have a fun group of friends to spend an evening with, and even more blessed to sleep until 8:30 with a pot of coffee waiting for me.
I haven't come up with any big resolutions for myself (that I'm willing to share:~)) but it's good to reflect on the past year and commit myself to thoroughly enjoying precious time with family in '08. As I sit here with Kate and Sean each leaning on one shoulder and Maddie laying at my feet I am overwhelmed with how blessed I feel. I keep thinking about a comment that a friend recently left here for me... family is such a GIFT. It is indeed a gift that I resolve not to take for granted.
